Thanks so much for doing this translation and posting it, Anatol. I often struggle with philosophical writing, and generally only read it when I *need* to inform myself as to someone’s ideas. But this was a *pleasure* to read. It’s largely jargon-free, the ideas are clearly expressed and Hilbert’s points are so well made. It can be done!
